Richard W. Bown is a writer and software engineer who loves to explore life, work and the stories that every day brings.
Human Software is his debut novel. It grew out of what it actually feels like to work inside corporate systems, a growing disquiet about data centres and AI and the thin line executives tread between ambition and greed. He wrote Human Software to fully explore the consequences of corporate decision-making on communities and individuals.
His second novel, One More Island, will be available in early 2027.
Originally from Kent, Richard now lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
