Richard W. Bown is a salaryman turned writer. He has witnessed many cycles of boom and bust in tech: telecoms, the dot-com bubble, the Internet of Things, Big Data, and now the current AI hype. His first decade was spent as a hot-shot corporate coder while also leading a popular open-source music software project. He’s worked for dozens of multinationals in both the UK and the Netherlands. He’s been a tech journalist, used to run a podcast and is active in the Rands Leadership Community. He runs a blog, is active on LinkedIn and posts on BlueSky and is also experimenting on Instagram and Facebook.
Originally from the UK, Richard lives with his family near Amsterdam, NL. Human Software is his debut novel.
